6th - National day of Prayer 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Silliman park.
8th - Arthritis Walk at 9:00 a.m.at Sand Creek Middle School (we will provide a ride from the church). Please help us support this worthy cause by joining "Team United Church of Cohoes" in the Arthritis Foundation walk-a-thon. See Denise.
16th - Coffee hour after church.
17th - Abraham and Sarah Club. Lunch at Queen's Diner. Van leaves church at 10:45 a.m.
18th - Concert of Prayer and Compassion and collection of donated items for Haiti - at the Vineyard Community Church.
7:00 - 7:15 p.m. Fellowship and Collection of All Items
7:15 - 9:00 p.m. Concert of Prayer & Compassions
18th and 22nd -Vacation Bible School orientation meetings. Volunteers are required to attend 1 orientation meeting.
21st - Mother/Daughter sleep over. Elementary aged girls and their mothers (or guardians)will have a night of fun and laughter.
23rd -Geraniums will be available for purchase after our church service on Pentecost morning.
23rd - Global Day of Prayer6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.at the Vineyard Community Church
NOTE: Free Community Dinner every Saturday from 4:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
NOTE: We will be needing help from several "junior carpenters" with some shelving work and closet upgrades in the Uncle Wes building. To help with this project please see Frank Bagnardi.
NOTE: Church Office News. We are currently in the process of hiring a new church secretary. This is a part time position, keeping hours between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information see Pauline Daigneault.

NOTE: Bible Study/Teaching Series "Transforming the Mind" led by Terry Roski Johnson Friday Evenings beginning April 30th at 7:00 p.m. In the Adult Classroom (3rd floor). Call Terry @ 326-5086.
NOTE: Look for a decorated card board box in the narthax that will be there on a regular basis. Our food pantry is doing so well that it needs all the help it can get. Also your used plastic bags would be appreciated.
NOTE: We are taking orders for platters of assorted fruit, cookies and pretzels dipped in chocolate. All proceeds benefit the Youth Ministries of the United Church of Cohoes. Platters will be available for pickup on Sunday May 30th.
