7th  Was the second Sunday in Advent and the sermon was "Angels Angels Angels". The scriptures were Luke 1:26-38, Luke 2:8-15 and Mathew 1:18-25.

4th   Election Day Bazaar. Use the Pine Street Entrance. Tables open at 9:00 a.m. and remain open into the early evening. Baked goods and other edibles, Crafts, mint condition items, garden shop and much much more! SEE YOU THERE!

4th   Roast Beef Dinner served family style; sponnsored by The Women's Association of the United Church of Cohoes. Walkins and take-outs available.

9th   Congregational Meeting after worship service.

16th   Zimbabwe Auction. This is an auction and dinner to raise funds for the mission team's expenses while staying in Harare. Thanks to Dave & Amy Stowell for heading up the auction.

16th   Church Directory. If you were not able to have your picture done in September there will be a make up day in January. Please see Denise to sign up. We need to fill 25 spots.

17th   Meeting of the Session and Deacons at 6:00/6:30 p.m.

22nd   Work day at the Manse; at 10:00 a.m. Help us to clean out the manse and get ready for repairs. Lunch will be served.

23rd   Heritage Sunday. If you love bagpipes you will not want to miss our service on this date.

30th   We will decorate the three church Christmas trees immediately after church. At 2:00 p.m. we will have a "pot blessing" dinner follwed by a fun family craft. Please sign up in the Narthax if you will be attending. (Cost of craft will not exceed $7.00 per family craft.) Please see Denise Carutasu with questions.

NOTE:   Many thanks to Rosemarie Harrison for accepting the responsibility of coordinating the brass name plate marker for our stained glass windows.

NOTE:   Our churches Unity Windows campaign (directly behind the organ) will get into high gear very shortly as presented to our people during the congreagational meeting. Every member will be getting a mailing on this. We will present this to you exactly as we received the idea in the first place. There are 3 windows in this cluster and there is a good chance they will be illuminated as Pastor Terrie's window is illuminated in the lobby.

NOTE:   The members of the Women's Associatin would like to thank everyone who helped make the annual election day dinner and bazaar a success. The outpouring of talents by helping to peel vegetables, working in the kitchen, working in the dining room, serving the meals, contributing articles for the bazaar & bake sale, selling tickets and cleaning up after is what makes the fellowship spirit in the United Church. We wish to express our thanks to each and everyone and want you to know how much we appereciated all the efforts put forth. THANK YOU!

Note:  Pastor Jim's Bible study Tuesdays at 7:30 continues to thrive and grow. Everyone is welcome to join us. (no reservations needed) (no charge) (AND Free coffee!)

Note:   We need someone to calibrate the timer thermostats - we have 7 of them. If someone could help with this it would save the Church the cost of having to pay to have them done.

Note:   Kings Klub is starting and Miss Ellie is looking for volunteer cooks.

Note:   The Sonshine Patch is looking for volunteers. If you are able to donate 3 hours one morning per week please see Denise.
